16 ww update

I just came home from my 16 ww appointment. We could hear the baby's
heartbeat very well. DH was smiling so much that his ears were in the way of
his lips!
The Dr did not tell us what the hr was but she just said that everything is
going fantastically well. We discussed the resluts of the triple screen I
had last month and she said that with such numbers, independently from my
age (I will be 35 by the time the baby comes) she would not recommend an
amnio. I feel elated.
