They need someone who is non-judgemental, just like many women on this NG
do.

Yes, teen moms do need non-judgemental support. What they do not need
is more misinformation. Many of them *became* teen moms because they
already had misinformtion.

Hi Charlotte.
May I kiss your backside? Because I agree 100% with this post.
Baaaaaa! ;-)))

Some of your last post is not only very judgemental, it is harsh and
misinformed: a poor combination.

And not the first we've seen, if we think back a little to the nipple
confusion business.

So respect each others individual circumstances before you attack.

As I read your post, I had a very similar thought run through my head
about you applying this to yourself.

It sounds like Andrea is a bit in over her head, and I do hope she
reconsiders having another baby into that mix in any kind of hurry. A
few years for things to settle a bit wouldn't be amiss.

I notice that there are many 'sheep-like' posts on this NG. One woman says
one thing like "Ooh I couldn't believe a woman could give solids to a baby
that age" and you all suck up to each other, kissing each others butts
falling over yourselves to agree with the OP.

Wow, that's an extremely offensive thing to say. Could it be that most
of us believe the research showing that solids are best given later
(including one recently linking early introduction of cereal with
diabetes), making us well-read and intelligent? I guess it's far easier
to believe we're sheep when one makes the opposite decision...

I am not like that, and I post without worrying about what you think. Unlike
the woman who is afraid to post that she supplements with formula, cause she
knows people will be on her back.

People here offer information. People here ask for information.
Sometimes, people post hoping that others will affirm their choices
regardless of what the research says. That doesn't generally happen,
but the message not being what you want to hear doesn't have anything to
do with the messenger.

I almost never see attacks on this group. I do see people who tell it
like is, and people who can't handle hearing the truth because it
doesn't gibe with whatever they've told themselves to justify their own
poor choices, so they feel "attacked." When I've made the right choice,
or the best choice I could, I never have that feeling. Funny, that.

IRL, I'm usually known as the outspoken bitch and even *I* can recognize
this as crossing the line of inappropriateness.

Dawn routinely crosses that line on rec.equestrian. In fact she's a regular
Dr. Jekyll (here) and Ms. Low-self-esteem-Nasty over there. I note she
keeps herself in check much more here.

I apologise.
I didn't mean that as a bitchy comment, tho I see how it was badly
written. Andrea herself speaks of adding at least one more child and I
mostly meant that many small children and children with special needs
must be very draining.
Andrea, things sound very hectic for you just now, and I hope life
settles down for you soon.

I cannot begin to understand your fixation nor your own nastiness and
inappropriateness in posting this comment in your continued quest to
incite and bait.

Sadly, my killfile didn't work on this post of yours. I shall remedy
that at once.

I didn't mean attacked as in myself, I meant many women on here that have
been attacked.
I will continue to make my own decisions about bringing up my children.
People offer advice, but at the end of the day it's down to the individual
to decide, and just because people don't like it, doesn't mean they should
be attacked for their choice.

I couldn't cope with Kamrons constant demand. I waited 2 and a half

weeks
for it to pass, but it didn't. He went from a baby who slept all night,

to
a
baby that fed non-stop day and night.

*snip rest of long double post*

Andrea, not meaning to attack you in any way but would you mind including
the text to which you are replying to at the end of the post please? It
makes it so much easier to follow the conversation being had. To see a

post
like this with no previous text included looks like you're just making a

new
post out of the blue and I have *NO* idea who it is you are responding to

or
what it was that upset you in the first place. Imagine calling someone up

on
the phone and saying top them everything you just said in the same way you
said it, they'd think you were a raving lunatic because you picked up a
conversation right in the middle with no prior context.

Jen

I am sorry but I only see 1 post like this from me, nad I was replying to
many of the posts at the same time.

Don't worry Dawn I am not offended. I am very happy with my actual family,
they are not the problem the PPD is. We won't be trying for another baby
until Kamron is at least 2 now. I love the volunteer work, it keeps me sane,
I help people and it feels good as well as getting a rest from my homelife.
As for my 2 special needs kids, I love them to pieces. Their mobility isn't
impaired, and it's hard work but they both stand every chance of going on to
be healthy adults. We are very lucky.

Yes it can be crazy - but we love it.
