Babies and subluxations ('Yes, subluxations are real...')
BABIES AND SUBLUXATIONS ("YES, SUBLUXATIONS ARE REAL...")
See below. PREGNANT WOMEN: Avoid gruesome spinal manipulation of your babies by obstetricians: By using semisitting and dorsal delivery, obstetricians are closing birth canals up to 30% and keeping birth canals closed the "extra" up to 30% when babies get stuck as they pull with hands, forceps and vacuums. Sometimes obstetricians pull so hard on babies' spines they rip spinal nerves out of tiny spinal cords. LADIES: It's easy to allow your birth canal to OPEN the "extra" up to 30%. See ACOG's 2005 edition: How NOT to birth http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...t/message/3606 BABIES AND SUBLUXATIONS ("YES, SUBLUXATIONS ARE REAL...") Garth Aamodt, DC writes: "Yes, subluxations are real, and yes, sometimes symptoms don't tell the full story." http://www.chiroweb.com/archives/23/18/17.html OPEN LETTER (archived for global access at http://groups.google.com) Garth Aamodt, DC Grand Rapids, Michigan Garth, Dr. DD Palmer, Founder of our profession, defined error as subluxation and education as chiropractic adjusting. In this sense, subluxations very definitely exist. I hope you will join me in urging the chiropractic profession to correct obstetric error and thereby save tiny lives and tiny limbs and PREVENT more (putative vertebral) subluxations than DCs will ever be able to adjust by hand. Todd Dr. Gastaldo Hillsboro, Oregon PS SQUATTING Side-lying, hands-and-knees, standing, kneeling allow the birth canal to open the "extra" up to 30%. Women do NOT have to squat to allow their birth canals to open the "extra" up to 30%. SPEAKING OF SQUATTING, our chair-dwelling culture is robbing children of this fundamental human rest posture as the chiropractic profession remains silent. See Prolonged squatting bad? (#2): Were they all really squatting? http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...t/message/3769 There is also the bizarre obstetric practice of strangling babies at birth and robbing them of up to 50% of their blood volume. This is happening to EVERY CESAREAN BABY, according to retired obstetrician George Malcolm Morley, MB, ChB, FACOG. This subluxation too is easily adjusted/prevented.
