Default switch formula at 10 months?

We're travelling tomorrow and I have just found out that the brand of
formula we use for my 10 month old son is not available where we're
going.

Do I have to cart enough for the trip with me or would it be okay to
switch his formula?

Thanks in advance,
Bo

A little more information would help, such as what country you're in
and where you're going, and what formula he takes.

In general, there is usually no reason why a chld cannot switch
formula brands. He may simply notice the taste difference and fuss
about it, but as long as it's similar nutrition, the brand is
irrelevant.

When we moved from the USA to Europe we took one pack of formula with us and
mixed the two brands for the first few days. After that no problems.

Thanks, we're back now and did exactly as you advised, it worked out
thankfully.
