Multilingual children's book bibliography
My latest bibliography is of multilingual children's books: it is at
www.windowsill.net/multi.html A little info: this is much shorter than my other bibliographies, because it is very selective; as an English speaker, I find many bilingual or multilingual books hard to read and I've only included books that my son and I have really enjoyed together. I hope it's useful to others who've had the same experience. -- "I couldn't believe this was a book. It didn't even give me a headache." -- Chris Crutcher on _To Kill a Mockingbird_ latest issue: www.windowsill.net/vol12.no4.html review blog: www.xanga.com/windowsill |

Here is another site that should be included in the bibliography of
multilingual children's books. They have bilingual books featuring the adventures of Spacey the Turtle. The books tell the story of how Spacey fulfills his dreams to become an Astronaut, Fireman, Doctor, etc. They are written in rhyme, beautifully illustrated and available as top-quality hard cover editions with glossy pages. The site also sells a Talking Book version of the hard-cover book and stuffed toys with Spacey in his various uniforms. http://www.spaceyturtle.com "Wendy E. Betts" wrote in message ...
