Default RIP Washing machine

An epitaph:

It's worked for seven long years

Washing all our clothes

It started making a funny noise

And a smell came to my nose

When it rinsed it rattled loudly

And louder and louder once more

Then it suddenly gave a grunt

And Rachel ran out of the door.

It may never work again

(You get the general theme)

So now we sing this just once more

RIP Washing machine.

:-(

Debbie

I'm not sure what I do with it. Maybe I bury it in the garden...?

Fill it with dirt and turn it into a planter?

Aw, heartfelt sympathies to you! I don't know what I'd do without mine. My
hubby nearly killed our iron (and us for that matter!) by plugging the iron
in instead of the washing machine, just before we went to bed on tuesday...
The iron was on a box of washing tablets... We discovered it on Wednesday
evening when we got in. Thankfully, the only damage was a scorched washing
powder box. I think I'll resume full housework duties... :-/

You have my sympathy. I'm too tired to write a poem about it, but my
dryer bit the dust this week after about only three years--however,
with seven of us, many of whom wet the bed, it runs nearly
constantly.

My father bought me a new one for my birthday (you know you are
turning 40 when people give you dryers for presents--and you are happy
about this!). It arrived today and hasn't had a quiet moment since.

Leslie
