I love the colour, but I'm afraid
it should darken when I wash it :?

i can't tell which color you were interested in, but in all
likelihood any of those colors will fade & lighten in the
wash, not darken (in fact i don't know any fabric that darkens
in the wash, unless you toss a light in with the darks).
