Default Alright, I think I might be feeling pregnant now...

I've thrown up now 4 times in the last 5 days or so...
First time, I was standing outside in the parking lot... DH was hooking some
stuff up in the car and I started coughing and threw up... Might be TMI,
buuut... I blamed getting sick on coughing.
Second time, 2 days later, similar experience about 10 minutes after
brushing my teeth before bed... Just had this urge to run to the bathroom,
feeling sick, and I was kind of having a late-night snack of light, dry
cereal (something that often helps me get to sleep)
Third time, next day, I was in the shower and just started coughing again,
but I felt sick and started coughing. This was at night, just before bed,
and I didn't have much to eat since I just didn't feel at all hungry and
forced myself to have a few bites of supper... Not much in my stomach, but
still got sick.
Then, just today I had a shower and felt kind of yucky and had to fight it
back... Luckily, I was in the shower and was able to spit and then take deep
breaths and then drink some nice, warm *yuck* shower water, and I still got
sick. We ended up ordering in instead of going out for dinner, mainly
because I all of a sudden didn't feel so great...

I think I am starting to feel pregnant, but it's odd because I've found I
only got sick with boys - #1 and #2 are boys, #3 is a girl, didn't get sick
at all with her, but was sick daily with the boys. Problem is, I also have
no energy, something I found with girls, and smells and food don't make me
sick, as with boys, yet I am constantly feeling sick out of nowhere...

Sorry if this is TMI, but I kind of don't like this feeling of sickness...
Since it seems to come out of nowhere - there's been times recently where I
would be walking DSs to the school bus in the morning and would just start
feeling sick and fight back puking on the sidewalk or something... I have
yet to actually throw up, but I always have to stop and breathe and swallow
slowly to fight it, since I don't have time to be sick and have the bus be
missed

Not sure if this is pregnancy related or if it's because I've had some sort
of cold lately, but I really do feel not very well lately, and it's only
isolated times, yet nothing seems to bring it on - nothing I ate, activity I
did, nothing I've smelled, felt, whatever... Is this normal? Does it sound
like it could be morning sickness or does it sound like I am actually sick
and should see a doctor?

Probably makes no sense, and I'm sure everyone wants to read about someone
throwing up, but lately, I don't know... Just seems to be a lot in the past
few days

Hiya

I don't know if this will help as I don't have any other children to compare
symptoms with, but with this little girl I spent the first 4 months being
sick all the time, until I caved in and got anti-sickness pills from the doc
as I was getting very dehydrated. Now, at 7 months, the sickness is back.

I don't know if it's related, but you mentioned getting sick after brushing
your teeth. I was having to brush my teeth in smaller and more frequent
stages as I was sick within a minute or so of brushing my teeth. My friend
also had this symptom. Coughing lots also makes me sick.

I'd see how you go. I felt *ill* during the first few months, as opposed to
just nauseous. I think the main difference I noticed between being pg and
just poorly was that the sickness was and is so spontaneous. I get very
little warning, which freaks me out a little sometimes. If you've had a cold
lately, you're probably still run down a little, which will be making you
feel worse.

Take care, and try to keep your fluids up.

Lucy

Weelll, I had two boys, two girls, and it really didn't matter the gender on
how sick I was! My first I wasn't really sick at all, just a bit nauseous
now and then, and I had a girl. My second and third I threw up and pretty
much felt yucky and exhausted for most of the time. I had a girl and then a
boy. With number four I felt really, really good-I was the glowing pregnant
woman- and never really felt sick or tired except for a couple of times. He
was a boy. Pregnancy symptoms didn't work for me to be good indicators.

Sorry if this is TMI, but I kind of don't like this feeling of sickness...

Y'know it could due to the cold. Could sinus drainage be a culprit? I get
pretty icky feeling being not pregnant with sinus drainage.

Probably makes no sense, and I'm sure everyone wants to read about someone

(((hugs)))
