Well my kids touch my screen all the time and I have used Windex on it

Is this an LCD monitor ???

Do you ask because of the touching, or the Windex?

Because of the five years.

Okay, one yes and one no. If anyone else has had experiences
with LCD, either damaging it, or using it to point and not having
any damage, I'd like to hear it. Thanks.

I have an LCD monitor and my ds has never touched it. He does not spend much
time at the computer though (maybe a couple of hours a month at the most)
and when he does I'm sitting with him. I've told him that if he touches it,
it can get hurt. So far, he's respected that. HTH

Well, I want her to touch it, along with me, to point out things
at time. Just trying to see if it's a potential technical problem.
Man have told me that they've had no problems with laptop
screens and touching, and I think that they are all also LCD.

Oh, I missed your OP. I remember on my instruction booklet that it was
stressed to *not* touch the lcd screen. I guess you can end up with those
little dots permenantly on your screen and ruin it. I wouldn't let her touch
it. We point *near* things if we need to. Probably not the same as what you
are wanting to use it for though. HTH
