Default my poor DH...

Max projectile *pooped* today. It was soooooooooooo funny! DH was
trying to change him, and of course while everything was off, Max gave
out this really big runny fart type of thing. It got DH's shirt and
pants, the blanket on which Max was being changed, and the floor. DH is
down there with the spot lifter right now. ;-) OMG I couldn't stop
laughing. ...and we thought we only had to worry about projectile pee!

) yeah, I know what you're talking about. Sina gave us one of those &
we learnt our lesson well. We change her as quick as possible & hope
that it doesn't repeat again )

But then a few weeks ago, she stopped pooping 3 times a day. Now she
poops once every 4 days & she is up to her waist in poop ) & the
farting continues.

Omigod... I remember when my dd was like 4 weeks old and I was changing her
diaper and she kept pooping and pooping.. I mean, I'd get the diaper off,
she'd poop a lot on the table. I'd get that diaper on, and she'd poop
again...get that diaper off, she'd poop on the table. I was just about in
tears when my dad finally came in, laughing, and finished it all up. as I
recall he stood there just holding up her legs for 10 minutes while she got
good and done. I swear to god she must have pooped more than her own body
weight.

We had one of those too, around the same time. Taylor must have been about
4-5 weeks old. I made the mistake of trying to change her too soon after a
bowl movement -- I had her legs up in the air, and had just put a new diaper
down on the table (and her on top of it) when the extruding began...and
didn't stop. I kept trying to slide new diapers in underneath her, and she
just kept squishing it out, like soft play-dough. blech. I went through 5
diapers before she stopped and I could get her fastened back up. The sheer
amount of poo was pretty amazing.

After that, I tended to let her sit in a dirty diaper about 15-20 minutes,
to make sure she was really DONE before I'd change her. Luckily for me, she
doesn't have overly sensitive skin and didn't rash up from it!

Funny, I must have changed hundreds more nappies than DH, but it is only him
that DD chose to poo on. I can picture your situation exactly - DH was not
impressed as he had to clear up the mess while I laughed!

He was proud, if you can believe it. ;-) I don't know what it is with
guys and things like how far you can pee or how big/smelly your turds
are, etc.

Um, OK, I'm taking this as a warning. ;-) I try to let Max have a bit
of time to poop, but right now he's in the poop constantly stage, so it
doesn't really seem to matter. Poor DH, but I'm sure my turn is coming
soon.
