Default Ultrasound Results (36w1d)

So, went this morning for that u/s and the NST at the hospital...

Everything went fine, I guess.

The u/s technician said that baby is just fine, everything looks alright.
She confirmed, once again, it's a girl lol... She then said that baby is
around 5lbs 9oz or so. Then she said something about 40th %ile - maybe for
weight?

I dunno... I then, right after, went back upstairs at the hospital to the
obstetrical unit there for the NST.

The nurse there said that it looks fine, but she said by the results, baby
is fairly small. I asked how small and if it was a concern. She said she
couldn't say for sure, but it wasn't a huge issue - not big enough for me to
be seen by any doctors right then and there - and that more than likely, my
OB will keep a real close eye on me. She just said that it appears to be a
fairly smaller baby, and other than that, no concerns. Baby moves still non
stop, the NST went just fine and dandy with no problems at all.

Again, I do have to wait until tomorrow morning to see what my OB says, as
she, obviously, would know what's best and what everything means in general
as well as to and for me.

Yay. No real issues at this point!

5 lbs. 9 oz. sounds like a nice hefty weight to me! My two dd's were 5
lbs. 14 oz. and 5 lbs. 3 oz. respectively at birth -- healthy,
full-term, *small* babies. Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy --
sounds like everything is going well!

given that babies put on roughly half a pound a week in the last few weeks,
that would be a very healthy 7lb9oz at 40 weeks, ok, so things aren't that
accurate, but I'll bet you'll have a baby above 6 and half pounds.

Cheers

Anne
