New to all this & just wanna say hi

Hi there everyone my name is lynn and I live in east yorkshire England, just
thought i'd drop in and say hi but im totally new to all of this could
anyone explain how it works for me thank you
I have a 3 year old Owen and twins of 7 months Jack and Jorja.

I'm not alone. I have 5 kids --ages : 10, 8, 5, and two year old twin
boys. I'm loving twins, although pody training is not the funnest.

What is the purpose of a newsgroup? Do you just share info and ask
questions? I've been out-dated for so long. I feel ancient and I'm
in my 30's!

I've come to look at the newsgroup as many things, support when things so
really bad, either with your children (twins) or just the family or
questions that may pop up now and then. Getting input from others as to
their experiences helps immensely sometimes.

Yes, basically that's it. Usenet newsgroup predate most of the more
user-friendly WWW and were sort of the precursor to message boards. Usenet
has gotten a lot quieter since on-line messageboards became the norm. A lot
of posters from this group have moved to web-based message boards such as
http://www.twinteresting.com/forums or other twin boards affiliated with
parenting sites.

Hi Tracy

We are parents to a 3 1/2 yr Boy - Zachary, a 1 1/2 yr Girl - Tamarisk and
expecting twins any day now. As far as toilet training our boy went, we
found a product called a WeeMan which hooks over the toilet bowl and is far
easier for the little ones to reach. cleanup is simple, just tip it over
into the bowl (no mess) and flush. It worked a treat, he's now big enough
to reach the bowl so it's off and in storage but I have recommended it to
all our friends with young boys. Now this is in Australia and this is an
Australian link, maybe there is an American importer for it, or maybe
someone with an enterprising nature...
