Default AFand sore nipples

AF returned last month and was accompanied by very sore nipples. It was
almost as bad as nursing a newborn (pain wise...but there was no
rawness). Poor little guy wasn't happy with the decreased output, which
didn't help. It just made him want to nurse more frequently. And from
the return of soreness within the past couple of days I'd guess that
I'm about have my period again very soon.

I've always had at least some soreness/sensitivity around just before
my period, but I've always chalked it up to my caffeine consumption.
But I don't eat/drink foods with caffeine now (ok...some chocolate), so
I don't know if there is something else I can do to reduce the amount
of soreness through diet or other means. Does anyone have any ideas?
The last couple of days haven't been any fun.

I experienced the same thing. I think it is hormonal. I never found any
way around it. Sorry.

i always found the same thing. i didn't correlate it to anything food- or
intake- wise. i just did the "grin & bear it".
