Default Well, well!

As the subject says!
It's been a while, again...
I haven't been real busy, so I guess I have no excuse this time...
My hours at work have gone up! By a whole freaking hour per week. Looks
like I'm sitting at 16 hours a week starting this coming week, instead of
15. Wow. Does it really make a difference? No, it doesn't.
But yes, things are alright over here. B's doing great, although he's a big
brat. He's been at his new dayhome since July, and I really like it, and he
likes all his friends there.
I've actually been in a really, really good relationship for quite a while,
and I don't think it's been this good for us for so long.
About a month ago, my dad helped us out with a new car. It's 100x better on
fuel, and I love it. It really beats that old Ford wagon we had before, and
I hope to buy the car off my dad - eventually. (His car, his insurance, no
cost to me other than fuel :-D)
Oh yea! My boyfriend got ripped off recently working for this shady
subcontractor building houses. This jerkoff owes him just over $3300 and
has yet to pay him. I put a lien on the house in question for wages, and I
have a feeling I might have to take it to court.
Even through all this, things have been so good.
What's everyone else been up to?

xkatx,
It's ok if you leave and come back. People will remember you still
(usually.:-))

Sorry to hear about your BF's subcontractor problem. I hope he gets
what's owed to him. Other than that, things sound good for you! good!

Yes, still working on it... Thought a lien on the house would have
definitely got the huge companies involved moving to pay, but I guess not...
Still crossing my fingers that this won't have to go to court, and hoping
this cash comes in before Xmas! Would definitely be nice to bring all the
bills up to date, maybe even a bit over, and have a bit of extra for the
Xmas season!

The kids and I are fine. I only have two weeks left of school but
lot of work to cram in that time. I may disappear for a bit myself.

Haha awesome to hear you're all doing fine. Time sure flies when you're
busy with family and school at once. Good luck with that, even though I'm
sure you'll be just fine anyways.

Hugs to you and yours,
'Kate
