It started this a.m. when

It started this a.m. when the previous night crew installed a silent siren
ment to scare deer off the road. On the first call we hit a deer. We
switched out of the damaged unit and was hanging out at the ED when the
tones went off. On arrival lightning hit the tree we were under and sheared
off a limb which, of course, fell on the lightbar rendering the lights and
siren useless. Of course the transport was C-3 so I used the loud speaker
to imitate a siren. I got pretty good..In fact we were wondering if we
should replace the unit at all. Another new unit later we got toned out
again and crossing an intersection was promptly broadsided by a teenager
who passed the stopped cars on the right with his boom boom radio playing
at 10,000 db's. My knee was shifted and as I stepped out of the unit I
promptly fell on my face. (9.5 on the face plant scale) Now I have a
severely swelled knee and a broken nose, my partner wants a divorce and I'm
wondering if I let my dog in if he will pee on my leg.
