My editorial comment back to Fox news:

I think this was a terrible tragedy, and needed reporting,
but I think you choice was headline was both ignorant and
inaccurate. This tragedy was not a "breast feeding"
incident. This tragety was a *DRUNK PARENTING* incident.

By mislabeling the story you can give a bad reputation
to a wise parenting choice, breastfeeding, while *failing*
to warn against true poor parenting choices, which includes
getting so drunk you cannot parent effectively, then trying
to cope with a helpless infant in that condition.

Very well put!

Thats a smothering, drunk incident, not a breastfeeding incident.
Maybe a moron incident.

Remember that discussion of blood alcohol and bf before? 6 double shots of
booze and a blood alcohol of .2-.3.

For crying out loud, breastfeeding isn't the culprit here, parental insanity
is the culprit.

Would they have called it a bottle-feeding incident if she'd passed out on
top of the baby after bottlefeeding?

Faux news indeed.
