Default pregnant after delivery? HELP!

I have a really strange question that I can't seem to find any answers to
anywhere else. I just had a baby boy on July 3rd, I had my period last month,
but I've been having pregnancy like symptoms since the beginning of Aug. My
husband and I had sex right before I delivered my child. We've had sex
several times since I delivered but we've been really careful and used a
condom. My question is does anyone know if it's possible for a person to be
get pregnant after delivery without conception? Many people around me are
telling me that since my husband ejaculated in me before I went to have my
baby, that it could have stayed up in me even after my child came out and I
could have gotten pregnant that way. I can't see how it's possible but I
wanted to know if anyone has heard of that before?

More likely that if you are pregnant (which you don't know if you are yet)
it would most likely have been contraception failure. I can't imagine it's
a very high chance for sperm to stay inside a uterus that has pushed a baby
out, then had several weeks of post partum bleeding. Not to mention the
sperm would then have had to live around 14 days till you ovulated. If you
are pregnant the most likely cause is a faulty condom.

Yep. What she said.

If you are pregnant, it's not from the before delivery sex, it's from one of
the "several times" since delivery. Everything has a failure rate, except
abstinance. Good luck.

Amniotic fluid would have flushed it out. And you wouldn't have been
ovulating. I would put the chances of that happening pretty close to
"zilch"
