at this time I was admiring my gorgeous baby boy before he headed off to
surgery. Is it possible it was a year ago he entered our arms??? I've felt
quite sentimental today. I can't help but think back to what was happening
whenever I glance at the clock.

My sweet baby quickly entered the world despite my protests it was hours
away at 10:40 am and weighed 7 lbs 14 ozs, almost 21 inches long. He's now
a robust 23 pound, 29 inch long one year old. I was afraid I wouldn't be
able to nurse him, and he is still nursing strong. This year has had many
challenges but it also has held so many wonderful, magical moments.

I am blessed.

Thank you, Nan! I wish he'd stop biting, though! The teeth he has
coming in must be particularly bothersome.
