Default Men's experiences with WIC

I'm researching a piece on men's experiences with WIC and would like to
hear from any men who sought help from that agency. Are you put off by
the title?
Did you receive help?
How were you treated?
If I include your experience in an article for publication, how do you
wish to be identified?
Thanks to anyone who responds.

Men won't receive WIC for themselves - it's to proper nourishment for the
developing fetus in pregnant woman and for children up to the age of 5.

You mean men never get custody of children under the age of 5?

Or are you playing a semantic game ("You should have asked if YOUR
CHILDREN received help!")

No, I mean men are not eligible to receive WIC benefits for themselves -
only for their children up until their 5th birthday.

You DO understand the phrase "for themselves", don't you?

Or are you playing a semantic game ("You should have asked if YOUR
CHILDREN received help!")

No game at all - simple statement of fact - Men won't receive WIC benefits
for themselves - actually, women won't receive it for themselves, either,
unless they meet the criteria of being pregnant (and up to, I believe, 6
months post-partum for additional nutrition while nursing)

Any parts there you didn't understand?
