Default I'm at it... Just needing to kinda share lol

Switching rooms with Amie. I've been at this since about 3pm (it's now 5pm)

Everyone has said that if they were in my position, they'd switch bedrooms
with the baby and give 2 babies the bigger room and take the smaller room.
Everyone I've asked for advice has also said they'd do that sooner than
later - have her get used to a new room first, set up and complete with her
stuff, as well as the new baby's stuff.

I'll try and make this short so I can get back at it for half an hour or so,
make supper, then get back at it again before it's bed time and we're ALL in
trouble!

Last 2 hours I have...
-Made a deal with B to play with his sister while I quickly pick up his
room.
-Moved my mattress and box springs out of my room, put them in Bran's room,
which was all cleaned
-Moved the TV, stand and night tables out of my room, again, stacked it all
in his room.
-Vacuumed most of the room, have yet to mop up all the yuck
-Picked up basically all the clothes, toys, garbage, etc., out of my room

All that's left in my room is my bed frame/headboard and the 2 dressers (I'm
going to keep the matching pair of dressers in that room - one for Amie, one
for the baby) The little hallway part in that room is cleared, although the
closet is basically packed like crazy with other things. I'll deal with
that later.
Bran's room is packed with my junk. Made the most sense (to me, anyways) to
haul my stuff in his room, clear out mine, move Amie's stuff in my room (her
new room) and then move my stuff out of B's room and into my new room.

I've been working for about 45 mins at a time then taking about 15 mins of a
breather. Yea, yea, maybe I'm lazy, but 45 mins is when I find I get tired
and feel real hot and overwhelmed, and 15 mins is enough time to unwind a
bit, but not enough time to make me feel like I don't want to get back at
it.

I also NEED to finish tonight or come bed time... We're all going to be in a
bit of trouble... I'll be in the most trouble, though, as the kids *could*
sleep how the place sits now (B's loft bed has stuff around and under it,
not on it, A's crib and room remains untouched.)

I think I'm going to go back at it up there for another half hour or so,
seeing as it's after 5 now. I think I'll move A's stuff into the room real
soon, take that half hour or so to do that, find something for a quick
supper then get right back at this disaster before the kids should be in bed
around 8 or so.

Brandon has dance class tomorrow morning at 10. We have to be across the
city for this, and I told my mom I would try and be there early for the
930am parents' meeting. My mom is willing to go to the meeting if I can't
make it for whatever reason. She's the one that tends to pay more attention
during these types of things, as I'd have both kids to deal with during this
meeting, giving me even more of an excuse to kinda sorta not pay attention
I just want to get these rooms fairly done before 8 to put the kids to
bed at their regular times - if I have to keep them up until 9 or so, oh
well... It is a Friday night, and tomorrow isn't an extremely early morning
(as it is with school days) and we can all sleep in until 830 or so and
still make it to dance class just before 10. I was kind of tempted to call
my brother and ask him for some help with moving stuff, but nothing's
extremely hard to move, except things like the mattress - it was more
awkward than anything, and I managed just fine anyways. My brother would
NOT be alright with helping me clean, though! LOL I'm on such a roll.
I've been determined to do this, and I'm having some fun, in a weird way,
doing it.

I'm off to grab a bucket of real hot water, some cleaner, the cordless drill
and go back upstairs. Still trying to figure out how in sam hill I'm going
to take this frame and headboard apart!
So that's it for now. I think I'm doing real good with it. Not feeling too
tired or stressed about it, other than it's getting close to supper time AND
bed time... I think I can do this!

Hey! Have you recovered yet? That was a LOT of work!

NO!! I still feel the physical pain LOL
But... I did move A's crib into the new room, along with her change table,
fish tank, blanket stand thing, rocking chair, toys, whatever...
I also put her clothes in the one side of the closet as it was empty when I
bagged up all of N's clothes a little while back... I took out what I wear
now and put it in my new closet, left what doesn't fit me right now (that I
hope eventually will fit me again!)
I was going to go through the baby's clothes (A's stuff that I packed in
boxes) but realized I don't have any extra baby hangers - so that will wait
until whenever I get some more baby hangers.
I also did get the second crib upstairs and set up. Didn't put the mattress
in just yet, but whatever. The crib is there, A has been sleeping like a
charm since Friday, I believe it was, when she had her new room for the
first night. I also put her clothes in the chest dresser in there... Moved
my clothes out of my dresser and put them in her old dresser (to keep the
matching set in the same room) and I'm thinking of, once I get our laundry
all caught up, washing the baby's stuff and putting all that in the drawers.
It's kind of fun to do, in a twisted way!
