Default Sinus infection wh

Hi all. I am 28 wks pregnant, and I woke up this morning with what i
think is a sinus infection - headache, nasal drainage, slight fever. I
know someone at work had a sinus infection, so i figure that is what
this is. Just wondering - those of you who have had a sinus infection
while pregnant, how did you treat it?

Plain Sudafed only (ie it must only contain pseudophedrine and nothing
else - unless it's tylenol). (I made this mistake!)

Well, what you have really does sound like a normal cold. Especially if you
just woke up with these symptoms today. I am just finishing a round of
antibiotics because I had a sinus infection and a double ear infection which
developed after a stubborn, lingering cold after two weeks. A sinus
infection would be more pain in the sinus areas, jaw pain, tooth pain,
pressure and pain in the eye sockets, loss of smell and taste, etc.

I think you should try some Sudafed (the plain stuff, in the red box), drink
plenty of water and get some rest. Good luck.

I had a real bad sinus infection during my 26th week. It was so bad that
I had to be put on antibiotic (I think it was a grade B antibiotic). I
also took sudafed for the congestion.
