menses back...milk supply ok?

after exactly 3 weeks my period has returned...is this an indicator that I'm
not producing enough milk?

If you're only 3 weeks post partum, it's most likely NOT a period, but a
return of locia.

And no, even if it were a period, it doesn't mean you're not producing
enough milk. Some women just get them back quickly. Your supply may dip
though right before or during your period, but getting your period doesn't
mean your supply is low.

But at 3 weeks post partum, it's highly unlikely that it's your period.

thanks...there are little clots in the blood which is exactly like my regular
period...i will call and ask my doctor i guess.

are you sure its a period, not just some lochia? my periods came back
after 3 months, even with BF every 3 hours but I have loads of milk so
don't worry!
