Early waking?
"Amy" wrote in message
oups.com... She's not mad or in pain when she wakes up - just wide awake and ready to start the day. Nothing is more irritating when it's not even light outside. Not hungry or thirsty? Sometimes it's just a short phase and if you keep things boring then it will stop. Are you getting her up, or nursing and trying to get her back to sleep? Could it be that she is being woken up by something - a random crazy cat moment (if you have a cat, you'll know what I mean), or the central heating switching on? Has a neighbour started getting up at that time so she hears a car start outside? My dd2 went through a similar phase and it was so frustrating until we figured out she was hearing the hot water cranking up in our old central heating system., which is why I always wonder about outside influences if the baby isn't waking for any obvious reason.
