Default Does anybody have any useful advice on how to collect a child support debt?

It looks like there are a lot of deadbeat supporters, enablers, and
deadbeats on this usenet group. This particular thread is not for
those mentioned above. This particular thread is for people that have
advice on how to collect child support, enforcing the child support
order issued by a court of family law, and warning others about a
deadbeat. If you post a negitive comment, it will be deleted, as this
is for the purpose of helping each other out in getting the child
support that is owed collected.

I have a court order for child support, and the absent parent refuses
to pay it. He bounces from job to job, moves from place to place, all
in order to avoid child support. How can these people known as
noncustodial parents get away with, what is in my opinion, child
neglect?
Let's face facts, if the custodial parent decided that they were not
going to financially support the children, CPS would get involved as
fast as they could to remove the child on the grounds of neglect.
There are billions owed in child support across the united states, and
more than 75% of the court orders go without enforcement because the
laws that dictate child support vary from state to state. I hate the
term "deadbeat", but when you have a child, and refuse to financially
support the child, that's what a person becomes.
There is no excuse to not support your children, and there is no
excuse to not be involved, because one parent can not keep another
parent from the child. Sure the custodial parent can say "No you can't
see your child", but (when there is no court order as to visitation)
if the absent parent really did want to be involved they also would
have requested visitation through the courts, just as the custodial
parent requested child support.

If anybody has advice on how to collect child support when the absent
parent doesn't pay willfully, your comments are welcomed.
