If he really loves her that much, there is no way in hell that he would
actually follow through on never speaking to her again -- especially if she
has herself a beautiful little grandbaby in her arms...Daddy's are suckers
for their little girls, and even more so for their grandbabies. It's hard
for him to watch his little girl grow up, but it's going to happen. He's
just going to have to deal with it. If he does blow his top, he'll come
around.

Actually, that's what I've been trying to tell her throughout our
relationship. Something has her very scared for some reason. Slowly, she's
been working out of it - but this is a pretty big step for her I guess.

Brandyn
You can always remind her of every large incident in her life that has
****ed off daddy -- borrowing the family car with out permission, putting a
dent in it, staying out way too long past curfew, whatever, and extrapolate
his anger based on that. This probably won't be any worse than the worst of
those incidents.

It sounds like your soon-to-be-wife-and-mother-of-your-child has some
growing up to do.

Mainly, she's worried that he'll never speak to her again. I have no clue
how he'd react, and she knows him better than I do.

Well that isn't the end of the world. Given the way he is treating his
daughter, it probably might be a blessing. My mom was not happy at all when
I got pregnant with our first child. She didn't speak to me for the majority
of the pregnancy, but boy did she come around once I had the baby.
