Re Violent (or any kind of) video games VS comic books in previous
decades.

It's about 1900 or thereabouts, and storybooks for children are more and
more available. Little Johnny's parents are tearing their hair out
because Johnny just wants to sit there and read and read and read those
gol-durn BOOKS, instead of watering the horses, and pulling cows' teats,
and hoeing the potatoes and ...

Still, don't ask me why, but I think that video games are inherently worse
than those storybooks and comics. I guess I just don't know how to
analyze and quantify and articulate it...anybody out there who can do
this?

Very interesting, Grinder... I know they have done studies on video
games being violent, but it would be interesting to do the same study
with contact sports and see if the levels vary or if they are the
same...Would be an easy comparison...
