The top two people in charge of the local office of the Florida
Department of Children and Families were removed from their positions
and put on indefinite paid leave Friday.

Robert McHarry, circuit administrator, and Harry Propper, operations
manager, will no longer direct DCF’s local office while a management
review is conducted, said Nick Cox, DCF regional manager.

McHarry was in charge of the local DCF office for the 20th Judicial
Circuit, formerly DCF District 8, which includes Lee, Glades, Hendry,
Charlotte and Collier counties.

Cox is a regional manager, over 11 counties from Tampa to Naples.

“We’re essentially taking over supervision of the Fort Myers office,�
Cox said.

Neither McHarry nor Propper would comment on what happened when reached.

citizens of this country hold CPS to the same standards that they hold
parents too. No judge should ever put another child in the hands of ANY
government agency because CPS nationwide is guilty of more harm and
death than any human being combined. CPS nationwide is guilty of more
human rights violations and deaths of children then the homes from which
they were removed. When are the judges going to wake up and see that
they are sending children to their death and a life of abuse when
children are removed from safe homes based on the mere opinion of a
bunch of social workers.
