Default engorged before delivery?

I'm due with DS July 17....sooner I wish. Today I've noticed that I'm
started to feel pretty engorged on the right (DD's preferred side) and
while I've never had leaking problems, I can very easily express
plenty. Please tell me this is a sign I'm going into labor very
soon.....now or five minutes from now would be just fine with me. It's
come on pretty rapidly and if it keeps up I'll be miserable soon.

I was still nursing DD when I got pregnant, but had to wean her around
8-10 weeks because of hyperemesis and dehydration issues.

Hi JJ

I had the same thing when i was pg... i got milk at 6 months, then a few
weeks before my EDD i got pretty engorged... sadly it wasnt a sign of
anything happening for me. Sorry :/

Hope things happen for you soon though - the last few weeks can be tough.

Hi, JJ...

Sorry I've never had it before. But have you checked it out with your
doctor?
Hope things are going well.

Love,

it's not common, but I've come across it more than once, even someone
getting mastitis when 6 months pregnant, seems fairly rare in first timers,
but Lucy still managed it. All I can suggest is express a bit in the shower.

Anne
