Indications: 1- Estimation of gestational age. 2- Evaluation of fetal growth . 3- Vaginal bleeding. 4- Determination of fetal presentation. 5- Suspected multiple gestation. 6- Adjunct to amniocentesis. 7- Pelvic mass detected clinically in association with pregnancy. 8- Suspected hydatiform mole. 9- Assessment of cervical competence/ incompetence. 10- Suspected ectopic pregnancy. 11- Adjunct to special procedures. 12- Suspected fetal death. 13- Suspected uterine abnormality. 14- Intrauterine contraceptive localization. 15- Biophysical evaluation for fetal well-being. 16- Observation of intrapartum events. 17- Amniotic fluid assessment. 18- Suspected abruptio placentae. 19- Adjunct to external version from breech to vertex presentation. 20- Estimation of fetal weight. 21- Abnormal serum alpha-fetoprotein level for clinical gestational age. 22- Follow up observation of identified fetal anomaly. 23- Follow up evaluation of placental location. 24- History of previous congenital anomaly. 25- Serial evaluation of fetal growth. 26- Evaluation of fetal condition in late registrants for prenatal care. 27- Doppler vascular evaluation of the invasive potential of molar disease. 28- Doppler assessment.
