The only
reason we sort of came up with is if a woman has an immune disorder where
her body semi rejects the placenta ( as suspected as a possible cause of
preeclampsia).

Ah, this could be the cause of the example I gave then. My freind has been
checked into for lupus and has several markers. I wonder if that's it?

I have Lupus and I've had problems with my placenta in all of my pregnancies
so far.

Default of queens and cats, was frustrated with Doctor. Am I rightfullt so? (a bit long, but need

I asked:
*... what female mammal is a queen?!?

And Hillary Israeli responded:
A cat!

Really! I had no idea. Interesting that you thought it common
knowledge. I think it is far from that. Anyway, what is the official
name for a male cat? A king?

And while we are at it, let's get the "male counterpart" answer for
the rest of your list:
human: woman - man
horse: mare - stallion?
sheep: ewe - ram? or is that only certain kinds of sheep?
cow (better word?): cow - bull
dog: bitch - no clue!
cat: queen - same!
deer: doe - buck
rabbit: doe - buck?

Stallion would be the proper word if the horse hasn't been neutered; if
neutered, the proper term is gelding.

sheep: ewe - ram? or is that only certain kinds of sheep?

I think that applies to all sheep.

cow (better word?):

cattle?

dog: bitch - no clue!

*******? (just kidding!) Actually, as far as I can determine, a male dog is
just a dog.

cat: queen - same!

tom

rabbit: doe - buck?

yes

Nearly 43 with Niel then. I knew it was over 42!

Right. She was looking for the non-gender specific term. Since male cattle
are not cows, cow doesn't apply to the entire set.

Ahhhhh. Did your babies have IUGR? With her first baby, he was born full
term at 38 weeks at 3lb. 14oz. Tiny. The second, they were monitoring more
carefully and took her via c-section at 33 weeks because her placenta had
deteriorated and the baby stopped growing.
