Default Helping children

I would love to donate my time helping a child in need of
companionship, mentoring, and a shoulder to cry on if needed. Before i
do, i want to find a good organization that is truly after the
childrens' best interest. How is Big Bothers, Big Sisters? Big Bothers
of America? Any other organizations you would recommend? I am in
Southern California. Thanks.

I don't know what it is available in your community.

Do a google search with the keywords "mentoring southern California" or
"mentoring YOURCITY California".

Other activities that may interest your: Your local sports league
(coaching), tutoring in schools, boys and girls clubs. All these
organizations need caring adults, especially males in mentoring roles.

Jeff

Hi Jeff- Those are great ideas. I will do a Google search with your
suggestions. Best regards, Bob.
