Default ADD/ADHD: related to dietary intake, allergies and activity

http://www.healthegoods.com/content/biofocuskids.htm
The dietary intake for kids, and adults, has caused countless health
issues. One of which is the fastest growing - attention deficit
disorder. Unfortunately, the pharmaceutical industry jumped on this
bandwagon full-force and created a methamphetamine for our kids to
ingest. The solution is not Ritalin or special classes. The solution
lay in changing dietary intake, avoiding food allergies and creating
some semblance of exercise in their life. Exercise burns up excess
sugar and maintains blood glucose levels - allowing kids to focus
better. Reducing sugar intake also is a huge factor - but this is
difficult as corn syrup is everywhere.
BioFocus is currently being used by pediatricians, naturopathic
physicians and family docs. It is a full plan that treats the
underlying condition behind ADD/ADHD. Please read about it here and
make sure you look at the 6 page PDF document which explains the entire
program.

The Wall Street Journal had an article on Feb. 15, 2005 about how food
allergies may play a role in autism for many people.
