Default Moving to another state: a question

If a person who is ordered to pay CS in one state, and is current on
payments, moves to another state; does the first state *actively* go
on the search for him?

Or is it just entered into the database and if he surfaces or shows up
on the radar or re-enters the first state - they nab him?

Need to know SOON.

Thanks!

Usually not. They claim they do, and sometimes they actually do, but
like most government workers they don't actually do their jobs.

Moving to another state also makes it easier to make the greedy bitch
disappear in the river. The blue gun thugs don't go out of jurisdiction
even as often as C$ officials. Don't use your credit card while you
travel. And three months later file for custody.

Filing for custody is a moot point. The *child* is 18.

ARGH it is a VERY sucky situation - and it's just gotten worse and
will continue to do so.

Thanks for the comments.

I believe that it's a federal felony to cross state lines in order to
"avoid" child support. Maybe they just want that to be used as a deterrent
to prevent this, but I'll leave it to you to test it...

Then again, if you wanted to make sure that your case was dealt with on a
federal level, then it might be a good idea...
