The Disneyland DA and The Fluoride Deception: Did UCLA coerce dental student silence?
THE DISNEYLAND DA (Tony Rackaukas) See below.
THE FLUORIDE DECEPTION: DID UCLA COERCE DENTAL STUDENT SILENCE? See PS1 below. Attention UCLA Chemistry Professor WILLIAM M. GELBART: My $1000 donation (via Prof. Paul Connett; see below) is intended to stimulate the UCLA chemistry department to look into The Fluoride Deception. Attention UCLA grad and LA County Chief Deputy DA WILLIAM "Bill" HODGMAN ): Please help Prof. Gelbart look into an apparent Fluoride Deception at UCLA. See below. THE DISNEYLAND DA... Just south of UCLA is Orange County (Disneyland) DA Tony Rackaukas who says: "[C]rimes involving consumer fraud or the unlawful discharge of hazardous materials may be reported to the District Attorney's Consumer and Environmental Protection Division. In addition, complaints involving misconduct by public officials...may be reported in writing to the District Attorney's Felony Projects Division. http://www.ocgov.com/da/faqs.htm (Click on "Can I report a crime directly to the DA's office?") Fluoridation is a crime involving consumer fraud to accomplish unlawful discharge of a hazardous material into drinking water Fluoridation involves misconduct by public officials - mass involuntary medication with a known pollutant via the water supply. Orange County (Disneyland) DA Tony Rackaukas is VERY interested in safe drinking water ("made oil companies write a blank check to keep drinking water safe in Orange County")... Disneyland DA Tony says: "We made ARCO pay for an independent hydro-geologist whose only job is to look for any new potential pollutants. Most importantly, our prosecution required ARCO to write a 'blank check' to clean up the dangerous pollutants... From the start, our only goal was to preserve clean drinking water for the People of Orange County and we have done just that. You cannot put a price on the value of having fresh drinking water. Thanks to your efforts, an Orange County mother can safely give tap water to her baby. http://www.ocgov.com/da/press/inauguration.htm Who knows - maybe ARCO's hydro-geologist will help the Disneyland DA make drinking water truly fresh again at Disneyland? I'll cc ARCO via BACK TO UCLA... OPEN LETTER (archived for global access; see below) William M. Gelbart, PhD Professor and Chair UCLA Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry In response to your May 26, 2004 request for private donations to the UCLA Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry... I am sending $1000 dollars to Prof. Paul Connett of St. Lawrence University. UCLA may use this my $1000 donation to pay for a UCLA faculty member to attend the upcoming 1st Citizens' Conference on Fluoride at St. Lawrence University, Canton, New York 13617 Friday, July 30 - Monday, August 2, 2004 http://www.fluoridealert.org/confere...gistration.pdf Alternatively, UCLA may wish to use my $1000 donation to fly Prof. Connett (or an expert he designates) to UCLA to lecture on fluoride toxicity. If UCLA does not wish to use this money for either of these purposes, Prof. Connett may use it however he sees fit. Prof. Connett may be reached at: St. Lawrence University at (315) 229-5853, email: . Sincerely, Todd Dr. Gastaldo (BS Biochem UCLA 1975) Copied to: Prof. Paul Connett PS1 THE FLUORIDE DECEPTION: **DID** UCLA COERCE DENTAL STUDENT SILENCE? "[i]t was made clear to [UCLA dental] students that anyone who deviated from the orthodox line and questioned the benefits of fluoridation wouldn't be allowed to graduate..." --UCLA dental school grad Mae Woo paraphrased... http://www.vaccinationnews.com/Daily...deDebate27.htm PROF. GELBART, you are chairman of the chemistry department at UCLA until July 1st. Before you step down, please check out Mae Woo's story. (I tried to find her email address but was unable.) Find out if you can whether UCLA dental students ever were (perhaps still are?) coerced into remaining silent about fluoridation concerns. I am hoping my old roommate at UCLA - the abovementioned LA County Deputy DA William "Bill" Hodgman - will help you in your investigation. I am copying him via . Mae Woo's story of UCLA coercing dental student silence is quite plausible given information found in THE FLUORIDE DECEPTION (the new book by Christopher Bryson)... According to Bryson's publisher (Seven Stories Press): "THE RESEARCH WAS BURIED..." "The Fluoride Deception documents a powerful connection between big corporations, the US military and the historic reassurances of fluoride safety provided by the nation's public health establishment. "For example, the book reveals how the leading scientific promoter of water fluoridation during the cold war, Dr. Harold C. Hodge, had been the senior toxicologist for the US Army Manhattan Project, where he had helped orchestrate medical experiments in which patients were, unbeknownst to them, injected with plutonium and uranium to determine the toxic effects of those chemicals. Hodge had similarly been charged by the Manhattan Project with investigating fluoride toxicity, (fluoride is a key chemical used to enrich uranium). So, while Dr. Hodge was reassuring Congress of the safety of water fluoridation, he was covertly shaping one of the nation's first public water fluoridation experiments in Newburgh, New York, secretly studying biological samples from Newburgh citizens at his US Army laboratory at the University of Rochester. Newburgh's trumpeted verdict that fluoride was safe in low doses was profoundly helpful for the US military who feared lawsuits for fluoride injury from workers in nuclear plants. "The Fluoride Deception shows that fluoride pollution was one of the biggest legal worries facing additional key US industrial sectors during the cold war. And the book documents how a hitherto-secret group of corporate attorneys, known as the Fluorine Lawyers Committee, whose members included U ..S. Steel, Alcoa, Kaiser Aluminum, Reynolds Metals, commissioned research at the Kettering Laboratory at the University of Cincinnati to 'provide ammunition' to those corporations who were then fighting a tidal wave of citizen claims for fluoride injury. The research was directed by Dr. Robert A. Kehoe, more famous for his lifetime defense of the safety of leaded gasoline. When the half million dollar medical study showed that fluoride poisoned lungs and lymph nodes in laboratory animals, the research was buried, until Bryson dug up a copy during research for his book. One leading scientist who reviewed the 40 year old Kettering study suggested that its non-publication might have been responsible for an epidemic of emphysema among key sector of the industrial workforce. (Bryson has sent a copy to the NRC panel for review.)" http://www.sevenstories.com/Book/ind...58322100410610 I'll cc Seven Stories Press via The radio program "Democracy Now" says that Bryson's new book indicates: "fluoridation is a triumph not of medical science but of US government spin." Assuming Bryson^^^ is right, who knows but that UCLA HELPED (is STILL HELPING) the US government "spin" phosphate fertilizer toxic waste (fluoride) into drinking water? ^^^Christopher Bryson has reported science news stories for many media outlets including the BBC, Christian Science Monitor and the Discovery Channel. (Source: Prof. Connett's Fluoride Action Network Campaign Bulletin #57) DENTAL SCHOOLS: If dental schools *are* coercing dental students to remain silent about fluoridation concerns, dental schools should be investigated immediately. Dental schools may be turning out yes-men - not health authorities... In this regard... I recently noted some bizarre behavior of RAED AL KASEM, DDS, president of the Upper Pinellas County Dental Association... Apparently fearing fluoridation might be stopped in Pinellas County - Raed reportedly told his fellow dentists to sign a form letter telling Pinellas County Commissioners that fluoridation is opposed by "uneducated people using illegitimate data." http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...t/message/2601 SOME DENTISTS ARE NOT GOING ALONG WITH THE GAG... "[Irish] dentist Don McAuley...spoke to the Irish Independent about how he had received threats and lost jobs as a result of opposing water fluoridation in this country. He now heads up Irish Dentists Opposing Fluoridation, a group representing about 3% of Irish dentists." --Reporter Catherine Murphy. Teething trouble: Why the fluoride debate is set to rage again. Irish Independent [(Jun22)2004:28] BTW, Catherine Murphy's just-cited article mentions Prof. Connett's "50 Reasons fluoridation should not be used." I'll copy Catherine Murphy at the Irish Independent via FLUORIDATION EXPLAINED IN LANGUAGE A NON-SPECIALIST CAN UNDERSTAND... THE 1st CITIZENS CONFERENCE ON FLUORIDE: http://www.fluoridealert.org/confere...gistration.pdf Prof. Connett writes: "DR. PHYLLIS MULLENIX, the neurotoxicologist, who is featured at the beginning and throughout the Bryson book, has agreed to expand her keynote talk on the brain. We have asked Phyllis, as we have asked all our speakers, to put her presentation in a language a non-specialist can understand. So this will be a splendid opportunity for FAN members to find out more about how the brain works and how fluoride can damage its delicate mechanisms. Phyllis's presentation will be followed by a panel discussion involving herself, Dr. Albert Burgstahler, the science editor of the journal Fluoride, which has carried several important papers from China on fluoride's ability to lower the IQ of children, and Dr. Roger Masters whose work has shown that the water fluoridating agents hexafluorosilicic acid and its sodium salt are associated with a greater uptake of lead - a known neurotoxic agent - into children's blood." (Source: Prof. Connett's Fluoride Action Network Campaign Bulletin #65, emphasis added.) WAS DR. PHYLLIS MULLENIX SACKED BY DENTISTS?? "Bryson's book begins by relating how one of those recent pieces of research, conducted by the Harvard toxicologist Phyllis Mullenix during the 1990,s, showed that fluoride in water produces symptoms in rats strongly resembling attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). (Between 3 and 6 percent of all US schoolchildren suffer this illness.) Just days before her research was accepted for publication, Mullenix was fired as the head of toxicology at the Forsyth Dental Center in Boston." http://www.sevenstories.com/Book/ind...58322100410610 PS2 PEPSI'S AQUA FINA HAS NO FLUORIDE? According to The Pumphouse (Jan. 2004) published by the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium/ANTHC Division of Environmental Health & Engineering Department of Sustained Operations 1901 South Bragaw Street, Suite 200 Anchorage, Alaska 99508-3440: "Colorimeters were also used to test for fluoride levels in...bottled water marketed under the brand-name AQUA FINA (0.0 mg/L)." http://www.anthc.org/content/Jan2004...peline%202.pdf Reverse osmosis reportedly removes fluoride... http://chemistry.about.com/library/weekly/aa102302a.htm PEPSI'S AQUA FINA is reportedly purified (in part) by reverse osmosis... Strangely, PEPSI'S AQUA FINA website does not mention that AQUA FINA has no fluoride - at least I saw no such mention... If fluoride is indeed removed by reverse osmosis, AQUA FINA manufacturer Pepsi (and other manufacturers of reverse osmosed water) may wish to capitalize on increasing public interest in drinking water without fluoride. After all... "Over 80 cities have rejected fluoride since 1996, including Santa Clara, Santa Cruz and Mtn. View California in 1985. This includes a number of towns which already were fluoridated." quoted at http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...t/message/2601 I'll cc ANTHC's Michaela Straughn via ("Questions or Comments about this Newsletter can be address to: Michaela Straughn.") I'll also cc Steven S Reinemund, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer at PepsiCo via Steven: Some people say we need to fluoridate to compensate for increased consumption of sugared drinks like - Pepsi! COKE Lawyer Paul Beeber, President of the New York State Coalition Opposed to Fluoridation says: "The American Association of Pediatric Dentists' recent deal with Coca Cola (10) further illustrates dentistry's unfamiliarity with or disregard for the medical literature...Unfortunately, children who may see the Coke emblem in their dentists' offices will get the implied impression that dentists encourage soda drinking...Meanwhile, organized dentistry may use the Coke money to deliver more fluoride to soda-drinking, over-fluoridated children...We should improve child nutrition to prevent cavities, remove soda machines from schools and reduce fluoride exposure by stopping water fluoridation..." http://www.laleva.cc/food/fluoride_studies.html I'll cc Attorney Beeber via . PS3 ABOUT ME (if anyone is interested) 1. Attended the University of California at three UC campuses: UCR, UCSD, graduated UCLA (BS Biochem 1975); then attended three chiropractic colleges: WSCC, TCC, graduated LACC (Doctorate in Chiropractic 1979). 2. Wrote the definition of chiropractic that appeared in three editions of Dorland's Illustrated Medical Dictionary [1988,1994,2000 "chiropractic...a science of applied neurophysiologic diagnosis"]. See Dorland's: Preventing VS by educating OBs (also: New defn of chiro in Dorland's) http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...t/message/2318 3. Discovered MD-obstetricians knowingly closing birth canals up to 30% and gruesomely (sometimes fatally) manipulating most babies' spines at birth. PREGNANT WOMEN: For simple PROOF that MD-obstetricians are closing birth canals - and simple instructions on how women can allow their birth canals to OPEN the up to 30% "extra" (and perhaps avoid episiotomy and c-section and unnecessary spinal manipulation of their babies)... See I ain't no Semmelweis, but... http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...t/message/2591 4. Wondered (still wondering): Can licensed California DCs tell pregnant women that OBs are closing birth canals? I was told by a man calling himself Michael Schroeder, attorney for the California Board of Chiropractic Examiners, that licensed California DCs can't do this - which is one reason I am unlicensed by choice... See Simple question for the Calif. Chiro Board... http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...t/message/2607 Sorry to pollute this fluoride-toxicity-oriented email with my priority... But "health authorities" are simultaneously saying they are opening birth canals - even as they close birth canals - even as they demonstrate (on video!) that they are KEEPING birth canals closed when babies' shoulders get stuck (lithotomy for shoulder dystocia). See ACOG birth crime video evidence http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...t/message/2300 OBs saying they are opening birth canals even as they close birth canals makes as much sense as "health authorities" (and DAs) simultaneously promoting taking toxins OUT of drinking water even as they promote injection of toxic fertilizer waste (hydrofluorosilicic acid) INto drinking water. INTERESTING COINCIDENCE: Back around 1995, Republican California Governor Pete Wilson - via his staff - told me it was outside my scope of practice to tell pregnant women that OBs are knowingly closing birth canals. (This is EXACTLY what the man calling himself Michael Schroeder, attorney for the California Chiro Board had told me, see above.) 1995 was the year Republican Governor Pete Wilson signed legislation, AB733, authorizing water fluoridation statewide in California. ANOTHER ATTY SCHROEDER? Around 1995, a "chiropractic" attorney named Michael Schroeder was (or later became?) Chairman of the California Republican Party. I do not know if this was the same Michael Schroeder mentioned above. In 2002, *another* "chiropractic" attorney (?) - Shawn Steele - was Chairman of the California Republican Party. http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cg...5/MN243583.DTL And now, in 2004, California has a "chiropractic" Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger... I am hoping the California Chiropractic Association is not remaining silent in the California legislature on matters like fluoridation. Sadly, the California Chiropractic Association *is* remaining silent about OBs knowingly closing birth canals and gruesomely (sometimes fatally) manipulating most babies spines. Sometimes political plums are obtained by sacrificing principles. I think that is what is keeping fluoridation alive - I think that is what is keeping senseless birth-canal-closing by OBs alive (unprosecuted).... Law enforcement could help. An article from 2001 indicates that the SECOND Attorney Schroeder (who MAY be the same as the first) has/had close contacts in law enforcement, as in, "[Orange County] Deputy District Attorney Susan Kang Schroeder...[is the]...wife of former Republican state Chairman Michael Schroeder, a[n ally of]...Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas..." http://www.twistedbadge.com/events_steiner.htm Tony Rackauckas is the above mentioned Orange County (Disneyland) DA who is VERY interested in safe drinking water... Former Republican state Chairman Michael's wife Deputy DA Susan Schroeder is apparently DA Tony's spokeswoman, as in, "Susan Schroeder, a deputy district attorney and spokeswoman for Rackauckas, said he has the legal right to shun the Times - or any media organization." http://64.226.131.145/discus/message...tml?1058495673 See also: http://www.ocweekly.com/ink/03/46/news-swaim.php http://www.ocweekly.com/ink/03/39/news-moxley.php Hopefully, DA Tony will read The Fluoride Deception and perhaps openly question the safety of putting toxic waste in drinking water AND PROSECUTE - if he agrees with me that criminal and/or civil wrongdoing is occurring as public officials force mass medication with toxic waste. Hopefully, DA Tony will also stop OBs in his jurisdiction from senselessly closing birth canals up to 30%. It's obvious mass child abuse - sometimes fatal. I mention this because DA Tony says his Family Protection Unit "prosecutes violent assaults, attempted murders, felony domestic violence, child abuse..." http://www.oc.ca.gov/da/Docs/2004%20FINAL.pdf SEXUAL ASSAULT DA Tony says of his Sexual Assault Unit that it "prosecutes rapists, sexually violent predators, child molesters and other violent sexual assaults"... Regarding sexual assaults - OBs don't use penises - but they DO use scissors - to routinely slice vaginas (euphemism "routine episiotomy") - surgically/fraudulently inferring they are doing everything possible to OPEN birth canals - even as they CLOSE birth canals - up to 30%. OBs also routinely slice ABDOMENS (euphemism "c-section") - surgically/fraudulently inferring they have DONE everything possible to open birth canals even as they close birth canals. It's OBvious crime. As usual, I am in favor of pardons in advance for MDs. MDs are just academic prime cuts forced through this culture's most powerful mental meatgrinder - medical school. California's "chiropractic" governor - Arnold Schwarzenegger - should issue pardons in advance - that way MDs can keep doing their valid medical work thereby earning money to pay the inevitable civil damages. (It isn't just mothers of paralyzed and dead babies who will seek compensation. Mothers of babies with lesser motor and perceptual deficits diagnosed long after birth will also likely be suing.) Back to the fluoridation crime... Again, Orange County (Disneyland) DA Tony says: "[C]rimes involving consumer fraud or the unlawful discharge of hazardous materials may be reported to the District Attorney's Consumer and Environmental Protection Division. In addition, complaints involving misconduct by public officials...may be reported in writing to the District Attorney's Felony Projects Division. http://www.ocgov.com/da/faqs.htm (Click on "Can I report a crime directly to the DA's office?") Again I say: Fluoridation is a crime involving consumer fraud to accomplish unlawful discharge of a hazardous material into drinking water Fluoridation involves misconduct by public officials - mass involuntary medication with a known pollutant via the water supply. Hopefully this email meets DA Tony's definition of "in writing"...hopefully he will forward to the divisions he stipulates. I'll copy him at I'll also copy him via the Orange County Register: and also via the Orange County Weekly editor Will Swaim at Thanks for reading everyone. Sincerely, Todd Dr. Gastaldo (BS Biochem UCLA 1975) PS4 Some people are still reading. : ) A special thanks to the woman who educated me (over lunch with that fine chap we both know) regarding fluoridation/involuntary mass medication/injection into the water supply of the phosphate fertilizer toxic waste known as hydrofluorosilicic acid. As I read Christopher Bryson's new book, The Fluoride Deception - recommended by Prof. Connett - I can't believe fluoridation is happening - hence my fluoride-toxicity-oriented $1000 donation to the UCLA Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry via Prof. Connett. I hope that graduates of other university chemistry departments will encourage faculty at their alma maters to read Bryson's The Fluoride Deception and perhaps also promote Prof. Connett's 1st Citizens' Conference on Fluoride. http://www.fluoridealert.org/confere...gistration.pdf It would be SO cool if Disneyland DA Tony Rackaukas could put an end to fluoridation of Disneyland BEFORE Prof. Connett's 1st Citizens' Conference on Fluoride; but I suspect Disneyland DA Tony is beholden to the same powerful lobbies that cause other public officials to mass medicate with the toxic waste fluoride. I sincerely hope I am wrong. If our DAs keep failing to prosecute obvious crimes (OBs really are closing birth canals up to 30%!), what hope is there? Maybe if enough people read Bryson's book The Fluoride Deception, maybe THE PEOPLE will stop injection of the toxic fertilizer waste hydrofluorosilicic acid (fluoride) into water supplies. Sounds corny - but I think THE PEOPLE are our only hope. (I'm talking about average citizens. Foot-dragging DAs and attorney generals call themselves "the People" when they plead their cases in the "Just Us" system...) One last note: Prof. Connett said in a recent FAN Bulletin that there will be a full page ad for The Fluoride Deception in this Sunday's (Jun27) New York Times - in the Book Review section... This Open Letter will be archived for global access within 24 hours in the Google usenet groups archive.
