Treating yeast infections during pregnancy is critical
Yeast infection is a fairly common condition during pregnancy, because
of the hormonal changes involved. It can be a persistent condition, as many of us have experienced. If your symptoms recur again and again even after they have been treated successfully, it could be that the infection never went away in the first place. It was - and possibly is - always there, waiting for an appropriate time to strike again. When the right conditions come up, the infection rears its head again, with all those symptoms we'd rather not have. That's why it is so important to get at the roots of the problem. Obviously, that's not always easy, especially when most treatments aim to contain symptoms instead of bringing about a comprehensive cure. My blog has more information on some of these things, and if you would like to check it out, I would certainly suggest it: http://yeastinfectionremedy.blogspot.com/ Lowered immunity is the biggest cause of yeast infections. This could be because you are too run down with not enough rest and an excessive workload. It could also be the result of other illnesses that have lowered your immunity - possibly even HIV, which causes AIDS. Yeast infections can also result from other illnesses less serious than AIDS, significant changes in diet, inadequate nutrition, use of birth control pills and more. |
