And saying that a man just has "to say no to sex" is bull. He does have

to
be responsible and use protection at all times, (and remember to take

his
pill, but abstinance is certainly not his "only choice".

You might not like the cold hard facts, but even with using birth
control, or even if a man has been snipped (recently), there is STILL
a small chance that the woman could get pregnant. Women that are on
the pill get pregnant every day. Men who wear a condom end up with a
pregnant partner every day. Men who get a vasectomy end up with a
pregnant partner every day.

THE ONLY 100% CHANCE OF NOT HAVING A CHILD IS TO NOT HAVE SEX OR
CONFIRMED STERILIZATION.

I'd be very careful with what you are saying, because you are 100% incorrect
in stating confirmed sterilization is 100% effective. Sterilization -
confirmed or not - is not 100%. It is near 100%, but there has been cases
where someone has fathered, or mothered, a child after being surgically
sterilized.

OK then. Either you don't have sex, or how about castration? Would
there still be a chance then?

Are you trying to be facetious? I was just trying to correct you on your
belief regarding sterilization. I happen to understand the chances
regarding sterilization because I had a tubal after the birth of my youngest
son. It hasn't failed me yet, but I'm very much aware that there exists a 1
in 1200 chance of me becoming pregnant. AZ posted the chances for men &
sterilization. Women can have difference chances depending on the exact
procedure used to surgical sterilize.

A question from the resident cynic: Does anyone *really know* anyone who got
pregnant while on birth control
(properly taken) or after their tubes were tied (or post vasectomy), who
*wasn't* lying about the protection?
