Default Weird breakthrough bleeding, 6mo post-partum?

I don't know what's going on, maybe one of you ladies has some insight:

I have been fixed (Essure) so there's basically zero chance I'm pregnant. I
had the hysterosalpingogram (dye study followup to the Essure implant) done
when baby was 4 1/2 months old, and had a week of bleeding afterward which I
thought was post-procedure bleeding. A month later, I bled again, so I
assume AF has come back. But it's only been 2 weeks since then, and I'm
bleeding a little.

I don't remember doing this when my period came back the other 2 times. But
it came back a lot later, last two times.

Ideas?

When my periods came back after Peter was born, they were extremely irregular,
which I had NEVER in my life experienced, unless maybe when I first started
menstruating. (I've never been on hormonal birth control, either, so the
regularity was natural.) I'd have nothing for six weeks and then a couple of
episodes of mild bleeding three weeks apart, that kind of thing. My guess is
that they were anovulatory bleeds, but who knows now. They settled down after a
few cycles.

It could also be some post-surgical quirk, I suppose. I'd check with your
doctor, but it sounds likely to be normal to me.
