Here is a resource I came across that might interest you. I don't agree
with everything he says, but he makes some good points. http://www.geocities.com/paul_j_preston/index.html |

Disgusting website? And a poorly designed website. No author, no way
to provide feedback, ect. Treat an animal the way this website advocates treating children and you will have APS or the Human Society on your door. Funny how disciplinary hitting of animals if frowned upon and generally not accepted, yet adults in this society can hit their children in the name of discipline and there are websites that support the practice. I never hit my children or my animals. Immediate obedience out of fear is not something that I wanted to encourage. I wanted my children and my pets to respect me and to trust me. My children are adults now, and they are great. My pets do not fear me, and obey commands willingly. Funny how a little bit of love and positive reinforcement works, isn't it? LaVonne You forgot to mention the little girl that ran away from your home. Or the daughter of yours that by the age of nine didn't even know that shop lifting is wrong! ;-) Doan deb007 wrote: Here is a resource I came across that might interest you.
