Default Reading Readiness & Parenting Tips Website

An enjoyable and easy parent and child reading readiness program developed
and used by the developer to help her own child learn to read. It also
contains some less-than-usual parenting tips that worked well to help the
developer's child deal with his negative emotions and successfully surmount
a dislike of school.

Nothing is sold or promoted on the site. The only supplies needed are
simple wooden alphabet blocks that can be purchased most anywhere.
Everything is clearly and completely explained on the site. The methods can
be utilized to help children from infancy through grade school.

This is insane. Children need to *build* with blocks not just to
learn the alphabet and letter sounds or words from them.

Perhaps they mean that the alphabet blocks should not be played
with unsupervised when you are using this program, but I totally
disagree with the idea that children always need supervision to
play with blocks.

Perhaps you have never encountered my kids ;-)
Wooden blocks are most definitely supervised only
in my house. They are dangerous weapons, don't you
know.

Best wishes,
Ericka

But, they get over that at some age, you know.

They do? Hmmm....still waiting here...

Best wishes,
