They do not count as a Usenet post, and I have to limit my time spend

If you look, you will find that I responded to some other post. I
almost never initiate threads.

Looking at the history, there was a thread actually on education with
this newsgroup line on 18 Nov:
Newsgroups: k12.chat.teacher,misc.education,alt.education,misc .kids
The discussion was about whether the Obama kids being sent to private
school indicated that "the public schools were not 'good enough'"

A guy named Greegor then responded with a 500 line post to:
Newsgroups:
k12.chat.teacher,misc.education,alt.education,misc .kids,alt.support.child-protective-services
with a rant comprised mainly about what some people 100 years ago were
saying about public education and having nothing to do with the
discussion, only with the thread subject "Are Public Schools Good
Enough For Our Kids?"

There ensued a side discussion between him and Dan Sullivan about the
British Fabian society and trying to connect it to CPS for some reason
I still don't comprehend, but which seems to have to do with Greegor's
ideological position (and nothing to do with the original topic).
Greegor's argument seems to be that the Fabians are socialists and CPS
is socialist, and therefore they are tied together in some grand
socialist conspiracy, or something - but he never makes that clear
because he started by asking whether CPS was "socialist".

On 20 Nov, Greegor dropped one of the three education-related
newsgroups and added misc.legal
Newsgroups:
misc.education,alt.education,misc.kids,alt.support .child-protective-services,misc.legal

It was about a day and a half later when I first responded to the
thread, butting into an endless flamefest between Sullivan and Greegor
and Kent Wills who had joined in at some point - the posts were still
being threaded into the education discussion and posted to the
education group, and had dried up all discussion of the actual
education topic.

If I made any contribution to its appearance on misc.legal, it is
because I can only respond to 4 groups, so I was cutting out groups
from every post I responded to, and Greegor seems to have been trying
to expand back to a larger number of groups (significant evidence of
an ideological crossposter is that they increase crossposting and add
in unrelated groups).
