Health insurance question for USAians

Hey all-

For the last five years, I've been carried under my husband's health
insurance policy (which has been amazingly good). He's about to finish his
residency program, and we had planned to COBRA his insurance until his new
position started in September. The thing is that his new job looks a little
shaky, right now, and it might disappear. sigh I'm not sure that I can
continue to afford our insurance plan on COBRA, and am now looking for a
decent family insurance plan.

Anyone paying for a family plan that they like? I'd love to have some
recommendations.

Have no personal experience, but I have heard Blue Cross Blue Shield is
really good - just be careful switching to a family plan if you have any
pre-existing conditions as it can be hard to get good insurance
afterwards...
