Baby sling product recommendation?

They're the best. On May 25, 2:58 pm, wrote: On 30 mar, 12:11, wrote: Babywearing has changed so much in the past 5 years... it is truly unreal how many different options there are. For newborns, I like stretchy. My favorite stretchy wrap, bar none, is the Gypsy Mama Bali Baby Stretch. You put it on, and pop the baby in and out all day long, nursing as needed, etc... leave the wrap on between wearings (www.gypsymama.com). I also like stretchy ring slings for newborns, and in winter months stretchy fleece pouches. Once they're past that sort of "raw" early phase, I go for mei tais. For smaller, younger babies, the Ellaroo Deluxe or Babyhawk with headrest is quite good, but for front carriers I don't know of many more comfy than the Napsack and Maya Tie (from Maya Wrap.) Those all lasted us to the point where I started wearing Shiny on my back a lot. Shiny is on my back all the time now, and we rotate among a wide variety of mei tais and Freehand modern Podaegis... Some of the brands I wear a lot include; Close2meBaby, Sachi, Freehand, Kozy, Babyhawk (Toddlerhawk size for us now), and Mama By Design. We've also stepped into the world of buckle packs a bit...but I've had mixed results there. My husband and father both *adore* the Beco carrier, but it isn't a good fit for my body type. The soon-to-be-released Piccolo from Close2meBaby and Catbird Baby is an awesome buckle pack and I find myself really enjoying using it--it "wears" with the comfort of a mei tai, and is far easier to fasten than any of the other four brands of buckle carrier I've tried. Hope that helps! Hi all, thanx for your nice answers!!! I finally chose thewww.KangarooCarrier.netbaby sling, because it is possible to keep the same fabric whilst baby is growing up... I was afraid by the tying tricks... but after a few checks with a doll )) I was able to tie the wrap around my baby! it inmediately feels so comfortable. More, it's so great to have free hands, I use it the whole day long. Now I can tie in a few seconds!!! So funny ) Best wishes, Noe |
