Default Need Hales lookup for Cipro\

As the subject line says, someone has asked me about Hale's
recommendation for Cipro, but I don't have a copy. Could
someone post ASAP,

TIA,
Larry

Ciprofloxacin.
Approved by the American Academy of Pediatrics for use in
breastfeeding mothers.
L4.
Pediatric concerns: Pseudomembranous colitis in one infant.
Observe for diarrhea. Tooth discoloration in several
infants reported.

Let me know if you want me to type in highlights of the
commentary.

OK. I have to plead ignorance and stupidity. ;-)
Immediately after posting this I did a google of
"Hale's Cipro" on m.k.b, and got more info than
you could shake a bottle of EMB at!

I'm happy now.

Thankyou for the help. I am the original poster looking for the Cipro
info. Between the hales info an the AAP statement, I feel better
about taking it and will continue to nurse. Especially since my
almost 2 year old only nurses once or twice a day anyhow. Now, if
this sinus infection would go away QUICKLY and I pray I am not
allergic to this medication...I am allergic to just about everything
else!

Diane
