had anymore pimples, acne for sometimes, I mean here is really spot, red, horrible things But, since I become pregnant my pimples coming out, it makes me embarassed, sometimes my husband tease me as well, saying me like teenager. What do you usually do for your face? Anybody can recommend me some moisturiser or some medicine? Right now I only used antiseptic facewash, but nothing change. Thanks... |

I'll be watching this thread for answers! My face is even more sensitive now with a lovely new area of dry skin but I cannot use any lotions because it makes me break out....blechhh -- Jenn -WAHM -DS Feb'92 -DD Feb'97 -Jellybean due June 25/04 |

"Pig" wrote in message ... Hi, anybody pregnant got problem with their face? Ex. Acne, spots Oh yeah! I never had anymore pimples, acne for sometimes, I mean here is really spot, red, horrible things But, since I become pregnant my pimples coming out, it makes me embarassed, sometimes my husband tease me as well, saying me like teenager. Exactly how I feel, like a teenager again What do you usually do for your face? Anybody can recommend me some moisturiser or some medicine? Right now I only used antiseptic facewash, but nothing change. Thanks... I've been using L'Oreal Pure Zone Cream Cleanser. It's minty, but a little drying. I use Olay Regenerist Serum as moisturizer. At night I use a vitamin E cream instead of the Regenerist (the pimples are leaving dark marks/scars and vit E is supposed to help with that). I put tea tree oil on the pimples. It's all I can do. Do you feel like you need another moisturizer with the Regenerist, Sophie? I've been using the Olay daily facials and the Regenerist serum but my forehead is still very flakey when I put on my makeup. I can't help thinking that another moisturizer defeats the purpose, kwim? -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |

This is a very common problem during pregnancy. Personally, I never found anything that did any good. It went away a little while after delivery. Hopefully someone else will have suggestions that might work for you. Best wishes, Ericka |

Do you feel like you need another moisturizer with the Regenerist, Sophie?
I've been using the Olay daily facials and the Regenerist serum but my forehead is still very flakey when I put on my makeup. I can't help thinking that another moisturizer defeats the purpose, kwim? I love the Regenerist. Soaks right in, feels powdery and velvety. I think for me it's moisturizing enough but it isn't a really moisturizing serum, is it? My foundation is Almay Nearly Naked which is so sheer that it doesn't cake up on any dry bits. I use my old stand by - Olay Complete - if I need more moisturizing. |

Is the Nearly Naked the one you use with your fingers? If it is, I think I've looked at it, but I'm apprehensive of putting my fingers on my face. Right now I use MAC Studiofix. I think the cold weather up here is what makes me need more moisturizer, because I was fine with the Regenerist when I was visiting California. -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |

I can't recommend anything but I'll just say that I developed a spot on my chin when I was about 3 months pregnant and it didn't go until about a week after YB was born... |

I was going to ask-- is benzoyl peroxide ok to use daily while pregnant?
What about salicylic acid? I am more concerned with benzoyl peroxide because it works better on my breakouts but I don't want to use anything unsafe- I avoided it in the 1st trimester... I wanted to use something similar to Proactiv but wasn't sure if it's ok while pregnant. |

Is the Nearly Naked the one you use with your fingers? Yep that's it. It's weird. Little spongy pad. If it is, I think I've looked at it, but I'm apprehensive of putting my fingers on my face. I like it, I get just the right amount with no waste. I do wash my hands before the first time I touch the pad, but then I keep touching it to do the rest of my face. Right now I use MAC Studiofix. I think the cold weather up here is what makes me need more moisturizer, because I was fine with the Regenerist when I was visiting California. I think having the heating on really messes up my hair and skin. |
