"Pammie1" wrote in message lkaboutparenting.com... The truth hurts doesn't it? I don't care if anyone disagree with me. It doesn't matter that there are single parents in the world. It doesn't matter if they were married or single when they had a baby. It's all about making these sorry people pay for the kid they brought into the world. Which would be only mothers because only women have the choice as to whether or not children are born. Since you dummies don't want the dads to pay for their kid, then I will go get on welfare and make YOU pay for my kid. How would you like that? Correction: C$ has nothing to do with 'paying for' children. It is a payment from a man, not necessarily the father, to a mother. Most fathers do want to pay for their kid, just not to pay the ex-wife for services rendered and child care that many of us would rather do ourselves. Fathers have a better track record of paying C$ than the few mothers who have been ordered to pay C$. Everyone seems to put all the blame on the woman for getting pregnant, but to my knowledge it took the sperm to get her pregnant. But it took her sole decision for the pregnancy to develop into a child. Her body, her choice, her decision, HIS responsibility. I know, it's screwy but that's what the feminists want. So it looks like the men should use their big brain and not their LITTLE brain. ....and avoid pregnancy if at all possible and most definitely avoid marriage under any circumstances. I don't care what anyone say a man or woman should pay for a child that they had. Since only women can "have" a child..... I played and I am paying my share of the responsibility now it's time for the deadbeat to pay his share. I take care of my resposiblities unlike these losers you are speaking up for. Men who don't take care of their baby is worst than a Heathen. And women who don't are .... what? Phil #3 |

Your advise could be used as a reason to outlaw abortion on demand again.
Who are you referring to when you state: "the people still don't want to pay even if the amount was low." and how do you know this since it hasn't been "low" for decades? You, like most angry women, forget that many of us supported our children well without complaint while we were with them. The difference is we are no longer paying for the children's expenses but their mother's as well, at least partly. Phil #3 "Pammie1" wrote in message lkaboutparenting.com... I know I hear a lot of people complain about the amount being so high. The people still don't want to pay even if the amount was low. It all boils down to, "you should have thought about it before you decided to have sex." I know as a single parent I should have thought about things too. We live and learn. Just tough out the 18+ years and learn from your past experience. |

If the child support formulae was fair transparent and resonable THEN 95% of fathers would be happy to pay, and would NOT go into debt. There will still be 5% of fathers that want to seed and leave and they are nothing but red necks. Probably about the same percentage of still-married fathers fail to support their children. What a coincidence! Yet, no judge or court can tell a still-married man that he must earn a certain amount of money, or that he must provide a certain percentage for his kids. Human nature, about 5% of people are irresponsible. -- Whose cruel idea was it to put an 's' in the word lisp? |

Men who don't take care of their baby is worst than a Heathen. Considering it is only women who can choose whether the child is born I don't see a problem. You should consider whether you can afford to raise a child before having it and in many cases denying the father a prt of the child's life. As for going on to welfare well if women really think that then the fathers should get custody, anyway do you really think that would help. btw I am a woman not a man just in case you are wondering.
