What (if anything) can I take for a bad cold?
It's been a while since I've posted here... I have a really bad cold that started yesterday...very sore throat, sneezing, drippy, stuffed up nose, headache and overall poopy feeling. I am nursing DD#2 who is about 7 months old. No problem with that at all...supply is good, etc. Is there anything I can take for this? So far I've only taken tylenol and sucked on cough drops, but I really would love to take something more. Any suggestions? With DD#1 I nursed for 23 months and either never really had a bad cold or must've toughed it out. Feeling weaker this time, I guess. Thanks for any suggestions! Kathy |

Avoid decongestants, and they can dry you up. A saline spray might be helpful. Well, I took sudafed no problems - just drank LOTS of water to make up for
the drying effect. Bendryl is OK too. "Kathy" wrote in message ... It's been a while since I've posted here...
