Default toe walking

hi I have an 11 year old daughter who wlaked on her tiptoes as ababy
and now sometimes still walks and runs on her tiptoes now shes telling
me "i need those shoes that support my feet" and i told her they were a
little overpriced but i just wanted to know ifits normal that she
should be running on her tiptoes.

If you have concerns perhaps you should consult your child's pediatrician.
Without seeing her and examining her people on newsgroups can give you best
guesses only.

I do know that toe walking is common in toddlers, but they grow out of it.

There can be problems related to the Achilles tendon, iirc, that toe walking
can indicate. Once again, seeing the doc is the best way to ease one's mind
or detect the problem completely.
