Default Low HCG Levels

So heres my concern i took a home preg test and came back VERY Faint.
Got the bloodwork done and came back HCG level of 29. Dr says he wants
to do it again in a wk. I should be 10-20 days preg. I'm
concerned...should I be? I have no pain bleeding etc?

A beta HCG level of 29 is very low, but it's got to start somewhere. 10
days past conception is still about 4 days before your period would be due.
And 20 days past conception would be a week past when your period was due --
both of which are still pretty early.

Your beta level should double every 2-3 days. If he's going to retest you
in a week, your beta should be in the 200's, give or take. If your test
next week comes back much lower, then you should be worried. But at this
point, you have no reason to be worried.
