Default COPS BEAT MAN WITH CLUBS FOUND NOT ASS-SUALT

Got your attention? 0;-

Actually this is about even that redoubt of child paddling enthusiasm,
the great state of Texas, showing us just how really unsure many -- at
least in the teaching profession -- are about ass-sualting kids in the
name of education.

And look what a parent did that was invited to ass-sualt their child in
school.
That's what happens in a climate of making the injury of children
official and supported by law.

Confusion in law causing schools to put away paddles

By Dan Genz Tribune-Herald staff writer

Monday, August 22, 2005

Local educators are divided about whether a new state law bans school
personnel from paddling and spanking students for disciplinary reasons.

The confusion arose this summer because a law written to give parents
the legal right to spank their children says the only people who can
use corporal punishment are the parents, grandparents or step-parents
or guardians who have the responsibility and duty to discipline the
child. ..

And just for those enthusiasts that think police are doing anything
that parents aren't, and in keeping with the subject line frame of
reference:

I'd say that these, and the hundreds of others that popped up to my
query make it pretty clear that we don't want parents doing to their
children what police do to victims, occasionally, and neither should be
legal.

One is not. The other....sure it's legal to hit your kids if you call
it by the right name.

Makes me ashamed to travel in some countries that have become more
civilized than us.=20
