Is it possible to get cramping pains at the time of implantation?
I have been ttc for over a year and this cycle I have some pregnancy
symptoms ie metallic taste, headaches/nausea and I never normally get any
pre-menstrual symptoms.
Today I have been getting slight pain in my lower abdomen at the sides and
just wonder if it could be implantation.

Thanks
Ruth

I have heard of women having implantation pain, but I thought it was more
centered on one particular side. I may be wrong, somebody else might know
more than me. If you want to do researh I know ivillage.com has some good
info.

I think so.

The metallic taste is always a sign for me.

Today I have been getting slight pain in my lower abdomen at the sides and
just wonder if it could be implantation.

Thanks
Ruth

Good luck

Yup, it is very possible to get implantation cramps. Not everyone gets them
so YMMV

When I got pregnant, my ovaries on both sides hurt like the dickens.
They cramped and burned and were quite a huge deal. Add that to the
standard first trimester cramping and it sucked.

The first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. For the second pregnancy I
went on progesterone supplements and after two days on them the cramping
and burning of my ovaries stopped completely and has not returned. I
figure they were trying so hard to put out progesterone but it just
wasn't working right for them. When I supplemented it took the pressure
off and they stopped hurting.

I cramped for half a day on the day I thought I was implanting. It could
not have been anything else since all my dates are exact.
